Sam has been in the health and fitness industry for over a decade. Starting out as a party coordinator at a sports centre and working his way up to studying at the European Institute of Fitness and qualifying as a Master Personal Trainer. “My name is Samuel Feltham and I’m the director of the PHC. Some of you may know me from my fitness boot camp business, which I’ve been running for the past 5 years. I closed that business down in March 2016 to fully focus on running the Public Health Collaboration. Several months ago I started having conversations with many of our founding members below about how we can start creating real change in the UK for improving the health of our nation, which is getting worse year upon year despite all of our best efforts. The one thing that we kept going back to was to collaborate our efforts into one singular organisation to inform the public and empower the medical community on the science and solutions of health. Over a melting pot of ideas we founded the Public Health Collaboration, or the PHC for short. Without further ado I’d like to introduce you to the founding members and advisory board of the PHC…”
